At Affordable Home Care Delaware, our caregivers, coordinators and support staff are more than in-home helpers—they are community stewards. They engage with the Delaware community in meaningful ways.
Our team participates in workshops on healthy aging, fall prevention seminars hosted at local libraries or senior centers, and we collaborate with local public-health initiatives. By showing up in the community, we build trust, learn about the local environment, and bring insights back to better serve clients.
We also run “safe home visits” initiatives: our caregivers may accompany a client to a local event or transportation appointment, helping them stay socially active and connected to community resources. We believe in care that integrates with life, not just visits inside the home.
In short, our vision is that home care is not isolated; it connects to neighborhoods, local services, volunteer opportunities, and social engagement. If you’d like to learn more about how our staff step outside the home to support clients and families, we’d be happy to share stories and invite you to our next community event.
